Now that the school year is fully underway, the excitement of new teachers, old friends and first day photos is wearing off and the reality of getting through nightly homework assignments has set in. It seems like homework is so much more complicated these days, and even when we somehow get to the right answer, our kids tearfully tell us “that’s not the way the teacher showed us.”
