MMSCL is accepting up to two boxes or bags of donations that are in excellent condition. Donated items will be used in our Literacy Book Sale, which raises funds to benefit our 501c3 organization, Community Family Literacy Project, Inc.   

Donations should be brought to the Front Desk Main Library in Shirley so staff can check them before accepting them.  

The Library does NOT accept the following items: 

  • Any items that are dusty, moldy, stained, torn, or have been stored in the attic or basement for years. 
  • Encyclopedias, single copy or sets 
  • Textbooks 
  • Non-fiction books that are over ten years old
