Random Acts of Kindness Day @ Moriches

Join Ms. Hillary on Random Acts of Kindness Day to create positive messages and cards to spread kindness throughout the day.
Quogue Wildlife Refuge ‘Creatures of the Night’ Program @ Mastic Rec Center
Saturday, 2/17 – 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Registration begins 2/10
Families with at least one child grade K through grade 6
Register one child Grade K – Grade 6 to represent the family.
Come meet a variety of live nocturnal animals brought to us by Quogue Wildlife Refuge! Learn the physical adaptations that each nocturnal animal has, as well as their diets and habitats. Discussion will also include native Long Island nocturnal wildlife. Get to see these impressive “Creatures of the Night” up close!

Join Ms. Hillary to create a collage using various magazines, books and photographs. Bring any special items that you would like to include. You are not required to stay the entire time.

Drop-In. No registration required
Children in grades K-6 are invited to drop in and read their favorite book to a certified therapy dog. This activity helps strengthen reading skills while children gain confidence in reading out loud.
