The Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library is hosting Stony Brook Medical on September 26 from 9am-12pm at the Mastic Beach Branch (369 Neighborhood Rd Mastic Beach NY 11951) to perform prostate cancer screenings. Men aged 45-75, African American men, and men with a family history of prostate cancer may benefit from these screenings.

Early detection is key to long-term survival rates of prostate cancer. That’s why Stony Brook Medicine’s Department of Urology and Stony Brook Cancer Center offer free prostate cancer screenings year-round as part of our comprehensive Prostate Care Program. These screenings may be especially beneficial for men aged 45 to 75, African American men and anyone with a family history of the disease.
