How do I reserve a Museum Pass?
Reservations may be made in person, online (list or calendar view) or by calling us at 399-1511 x240.

Please note, our museum passes are for district residents only. Patrons need a valid, unexpired, unblocked, adult library card with fines not exceeding $25.00 to reserve a museum pass.

New patrons may make a reservation upon receipt of their library card. This includes patrons who have signed up for a temporary library card.

Patrons must bring their library card with them to the museum.

How often may I reserve a Museum Pass?
Each cardholder can make one reservation a week (for a total of 4 reservations per month), and each museum may be reserved only once per month. The reservation week runs from Saturday – Friday.
Reservation dates are usually available 60 days in advance.

How long can I keep the Museum Pass?
You may checkout your museum pass (on the library card that you used to reserve the pass) at the Circulation Desk no earlier than 3:00 pm the day prior to your reservation. The pass is due back by 10 am the morning after your reservation.

What if the library is closed on Sunday?
If you reserve a museum pass for a Saturday and the library is closed on Sunday, then the museum pass is due back on Monday by 10:00 am.
If you have a museum pass reservation for Monday and the library is closed on Sunday, then you are able to pick up the pass after 3:00 pm on Saturday. Please note the library closes at 5:00 pm on Saturdays.

What if the library is closed on a holiday and I need to pick up my museum pass?
If the Community Library is closed for a holiday (click here to view the holiday schedule), plan to pick up your pass after 3:00 pm the day before we are closed.

How many people does each pass admit?

What if I return the Museum Pass Late?
A late fee of $20 will be charged for every day the pass is late.

What if I lose the Museum Pass?
The full replacement price of the pass will be charged if it is lost.

How do I cancel my reservation?

We understand that emergencies happen, however, if you fail to pick up your pass or cancel less than 2 days prior to your reservation two times in a 60 day period, your reservation privileges will be suspended for 60 days from your last reservation date.

What happens if a museum is closed on the date of my reservation?
The Library makes every effort to verify dates that the museums are open; however, it’s the patron’s responsibility to check with the museum for any changes/updates.
The library reserves the right to review and amend these guidelines as it becomes necessary.
