This program is intended for adults age 18 and older.
Join us as we journey back to the fabulous 1950s. Martin Levinson, author of Brooklyn Boomer: Growing Up in the Fifties, presents a captivating portrait of Brooklyn and America in the mid-twentieth century. Learn about the cultural and social changes that shaped our history, including the advent of television, fast food restaurants, big cars with fins, rock and roll, beatniks, hula hoops, and much more.
To insure that as many adults as possible are able to attend our programs, spots are guaranteed for those who are registered and arrive promptly. A waiting list is used to fill cancellations before a program begins or for no-shows the day of a program. This does not apply to fee based programs.
Seats Available: 11
You will need a valid library card for each person you are registering.
