This program is intended for adults age 18 and older.

This novel is the story of May Dodd and a colorful assembly of pioneer women who, under the auspices of the U.S. government, travel to the western prairies in 1875 to intermarry among the Cheyenne Indians. The deal: 1000 women for 1000 horses. Copies are available at the Circulation Desk after January 17.

To insure that as many adults as possible are able to attend our programs, spots are guaranteed for those who are registered and arrive promptly. A waiting list is used to fill cancellations before a program begins or for no-shows the day of a program. This does not apply to fee based programs.
