Program No: 11308

This program is intended for adults age 18 and older.

Join Lee McAllister, naturalist, photographer and the author of two hiking books, Hiking Long Island and Hiking the Catskills. His presentation discusses the many hiking opportunities available on Long Island. Lee is a member of several hiking clubs, and is still active in the scouting, blazing and maintaining of the 125 mile long Paumanok Path that runs from Rocky Point to Montauk Point. His lecture encompasses the geology, history, flora, fauna and topographical features that make Long Island such an interesting place to hike at any season.

Open to all.

To insure that as many adults as possible are able to attend our programs, spots are guaranteed for those who are registered and arrive promptly. A waiting list is used to fill cancellations before a program begins or for no-shows the day of a program. This does not apply to fee based programs.
