Friends of the Arts Performance -A Christmas Carol
Dec 21 2012 7:00PM - Dec 21 2012 9:00PM
Program No: 10100

Based on Charles Dickens\' classic A Christmas Carol, this new musical treatment presents the grand story of hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge, who hates Christmas. After visits from three ghosts – of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future – Scrooge is shocked into realizing his lack of humanity affects not just himself, but everyone around him. Filled with beloved characters such as the happy Cratchit family, their crippled son Tiny Tim, and Scrooge’s old partner Marley, the whole family will delight in the pageantry of this traditional holiday tale. This performance will be held in the Community Library’s auditorium. A library card is not required. Plaza Theatrical Productions, Inc., founded in 1983 by Executive Producer Kevin F. Harrington, is a Long Island based professional touring company serving public organizations, schools, camps, country clubs, convention centers and senior citizen developments. Tickets are $1 for students/seniors and $2 adults. Available in the Children\'s and Parents Services Departments.
