The hold request that you place online may not be visible in your record for several days. A library staff member will process your request in the order that it is received, and you will be notified when your item is ready to be picked up.

Please limit your requests. The online system will only allow up to 10 requests at any one time in your patron record. If the request is not completed or you have any questions, please call the Adult Information Desk at 399-1511, ext. 240.

Renewals
Most circulating materials are renewable. A borrower may renew an item as long as there are no reserves placed on that item by other patrons. Items may be consecutively renewed no more than two times, with the exception of entertainment films, Teen CDs and interloaned material, which may be renewed one time. Renewals may be done in person, by telephone by calling 399-1511 and pressing 6 or via the Internet by following these instructions.

  • Click on Online library services
  • Click on Search the catalog
  • Choose View your own record
  • Type your Barcode, which is located on the back of your library card.
  • Create/type a personal PIN and press the enter key. PLEASE REMEMBER YOUR PIN, as you will be asked to enter this every time you want to view your record.
  • Click on Items currently checked out and mark item(s) you wish to renew
  • Click on "Renew all" or "Renew selected items"
Please not that items that are overdue or on reserve for another patron are unable to be renewed. You may not renew if your card is stopped because of overdue materials or you need to renew your library card.
