What is an eBook?
An eBook is an electronic version of a printed book. eBooks can be viewed online from any computer
connected to the Internet. You can preview eBooks for 15 minutes for quick reference, or read them
at your leisure.
What is NetLibrary?
NetLibrary is a comprehensive collection of online books (eBooks) and resource materials. Using NetLibrary,
you can access a wide range of full-text materials and read them in their entirety over the Internet.
We have access to about 1,500 eBooks in the Library Collection. There are also more than 4,000 public
domain eBooks that are free to everyone in the Public Collection. In order to set up a free account
that will allow you to take advantage of NetLibrary you may either call the Adult Reference Desk (
399-1511 Ext. 240) or stop by on your next visit to the library and we’ll get you set up. Registration
for an account must be done by the Library.
