The Community Library offers an astounding array of programs, events and classes that educate enrich and entertain the residents of our community.
Programs for children include: traditional story times, reading readiness programs, summer reading clubs, hands-on craft workshops, song and dance events, puppetry and live performances. Infant and parent programs include: nursery rhymes, parent/toddler workshops, child safety and general parenting sessions.
Programming for adults targets a wide variety of interests, including: cooking, quilting, watercolor painting, antiquing & collecting, bus trips, films, live performances and computer instruction. Popular recurring programs of great interest include: T'ai Chi, Elder Law, and Defensive Driving,
Teens can enjoy movies, creative writing, Internet Café, GirlPower, Camera clubs, dances, crafts and bus trips. Additionally, the Teen Fashion Show, Job Fair and Reading Club auctions are annual events at the Community Library. Our new Teen Planning Board offers teens the opportunity to plan and conduct programs while earning community service hours.
