A maximum of fifty (50) items may be checked out on a library card at one time.
This may include a maximum of:

  • 5 books in any subject area
  • 10 periodicals
  • 10 Music CD's
  • 5 Audio Books
  • 10 entertainment films, VHS or DVD
      10 Educational Videos
  • 5 puzzles
  • 5 toys and one (1) adaptive switch
  • 1 video game
  • 10 CD-ROMs
  • 5 Travel Kit
  • 5 Picture book activity kits
  • 1 piece of equipment (fishing poles, Ipods, etc.)
  • 1 artwork

A cardholder may only use his or her card to borrow items with the following exception: adult cardholders may borrow items for their child on their child's "juvenile card" if both the adult and the child's card are in good standing.

These rules may be temporarily modified at the discretion of the Director for a period of one year. Also, the Director may limit access to specific types of materials to ensure fair access.

Renewals:

Most circulating materials may be renewed up to two times consecutively, provided that there are no reserves by other patrons.

Renewals may be requested in person, by telephone or via the Internet.
