Learn how to set healthy boundaries, how to discipline without punishment and how to treat your children with respect so that they will respect you. The Positive Parenting class takes the best skills from state of the art parenting programs together with the latest research on parenting techniques and practices.

This six week course taught by Dr. Roberta Karant is both instructional and interactive. Sessions are designed for both mandated (certificate included) and non-mandated parents and works best with a diverse population so we can learn from one another.

Class dates: 10/16, 19, 23, 26, 30, 11/2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 27, 30, 12/4, 7, & 11.
Class Location: William Floyd High School, Room 146. (WFHS is located at 240 Mastic Beach Rd Mastic Beach, NY 11951.)
Need help preparing for the TASC exam? This 8-week program will help guide you with the new test.
Cost is $30, credit card or money order only. (If paying by money order, registration must be done in person.) No refunds. 
Registration for valid MMSCL card holders begins Tuesday, 9/26/17.
Out-of-District resident registration begins on Monday, 10/9/17 (in person or by telephone only).

Chair Yoga for Seniors

Dates for this series are December 1, 8, & 15.
This specially designed yoga practice for those with mobility issues will combine healing breath and movement, and all poses will be done while sitting in a chair.



Baby and Me

Make friends, share common concerns and talk, sing and play with your babies, along with other mothers-to-be.
