Cultural Arts Guild of Mastic Beach
The mission of the Cultural Arts Guild of Mastic Beach is promote and present the visual and performing arts for the enrichment of our community. We believe the arts have the power to stimulate, challenge and enhance the quality of life and community pride.
Our goal is to create an environment that honors and respects individual and collective: inspiration, creativity, passion, learning, discussion and sharing.
We want to offer residents and visitors the opportunity to experience the arts, entertain new ideas, develop new talent, and experience first hand all the best the village has to offer.

Our vision is to be an inspiration for all of those who feel a sense of kinship for Long Island by instilling in the local community a renewed wonder and appreciation for the natural world, and thereby a commitment to be, forever, stewards and protectors of the environment we call home.
Friends of the Arts, Inc. at the Community Library
A not-for-profit organization established by the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library in 1991 that strives to bring a diverse performance series to the community. The goal of the Friends of the Arts is to make the arts accessible, affordable, and fun.
Harbour Lights Painters
HLP promotes decorative painting by offering instruction and socializing opportunities for those who are interested in the field. We also do community service projects. Some of our past projects include painted placemats for Meals on Wheels, Treasure Boxes and cards for veterans and service personnel, painting with children via Childlife Program @ Stony Brook Hospital, Memory Boxes for local hospitals, etc.
Long Island School of the Arts
Instruction and classes in music, dance and theater. Private music lessons, universal Pre-K and performing arts based before and after school care are offered. Special needs classes also available. Please see the website for a complete list of programs.
Mastic Peninsula Historical Society
DEVELOP PICTORIAL AND ORAL HISTORY; IDENTIFY HISTORICAL LOCATIONS; IDENTIFY AND PRESERVE HISTORICAL COMMENTARIES; ADVOCATE RESTORATION OF HISTORICAL SITES; ESTABLISH A PERMANENT MEETING PLACE FOR THE SOCIETY; UPGRADE WEBSITE; DEVELOP AN ARTIFACT COLLECTION; DEVELOP TOURS OF HISTORIC PLACES IN THE COMMUNITY.

William Floyd Estate, Fire Island National Seashore Historic Site
The house is open to the public from Memorial Day Weekend to mid-November, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10 am - 4 pm. Guided tours of the Old Mastic House every 1/2 hour.Off season (winter-spring) bird walks, botany walks, cultural landscape tours etc.are offered on the grounds.Slide programs/talks offered for organized groups All programs are free.
