Service Unit #48 serves Mastic, Mastic Beach, Moriches, and Shirley (the William Floyd School District). Unit #48 has a membership of 300 girls and 100 leaders. Members are offered learning experiences and service projects that help them to grow culturally and socially.

Guided tours of the Old Mastic House every 1/2 hour.Off season (winter-spring) bird walks, botany walks, cultural landscape tours etc.are offered on the grounds.Slide programs/talks offered for organized groups All programs are free.
