Chamber of Commerce for Center Moriches, Moriches and East Moriches. The Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1926 and incorporated in 1946. Our goal is to promote Business to Business relations, and local shopping. The Chamber meets every second Tuesday of the month (6:15 pm meeting) September through June.

Colonial Youth and Family Services
Serves youth and families in the Mastics, Moriches and Shirley Community. Provides a broad array of services including: counseling, crisis intervention, social services, childcare, recreation and teen parenting. The range of services is broad; please feel free to contact them with questions.

Community Library's Family Literacy Project, Inc.
A not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support and encourage family literacy. In addition to ongoing literacy based programs, the Community Library offers special grant funded programs. The Family Literacy Project, Inc. funds nationally recognized, proven programs such as: Parent/Child Home Program, Reach Out and Read, and English as a Second Language Family Literacy Component. A not-for-profit organization established by the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library in 1991 that strives to bring a diverse performance series to the community. The goal of the Friends of the Arts is to make the arts accessible, affordable, and fun.

Girl Scouts of Service #48 - Part of Girl Scouts of Suffolk County
Service Unit #48 serves Mastic, Mastic Beach, Moriches, and Shirley (the William Floyd School District). Unit #48 has a membership of 300 girls and 100 leaders. Members are offered learning experiences and service projects that help them to grow culturally and socially.

Grace Lutheran Church
Provides spiritual guidance, religious services, and support for their congregation. Also provides cultural and educational programs, and the Family Table Food Ministries food program.

Job/Career Counseling at the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library

Literacy Suffolk, Inc. Regional Office at the Community Library
The Community Library is a regional office for Literacy Suffolk, Inc. The office facilitates basic reading and English skills tutoring. District residents who have difficulty reading or for whom English is not their first language, may apply for private or small group tutoring through Literacy Suffolk, Inc.

Mastic and Shirley Community Emergency Food Center
Thrift store and emergency food pantry serving communities south of the railroad tracks - Shirley, Mastic, and Mastic Beach. Food (2 days worth) is available to persons in need once a month. Located on the grounds of William Paca Middle School. Other services are also provided if indicated. Please inquire at registration.

Mastic Beach Fire Department
Emergency services provided for areas south of Beacon, and between Havenwood Dr. and William Floyd Parkway to the water, on both sides. Wavecrest is the cut off point.

Mastic Beach Property Owner's Association

William Floyd Estate, Fire Island National Seashore Historic Site
The house is open to the public from Memorial Day Weekend to mid-November, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10 am - 4 pm. Guided tours of the Old Mastic House every 1/2 hour.Off season (winter-spring) bird walks, botany walks, cultural landscape tours etc.are offered on the grounds.Slide programs/talks offered for organized groups All programs are free.

William Floyd Project (YMCA Mastic)
