NSHC Navigator Agency provides in-person navigators at various sites throughout the community. Time with these navigators are offered on a first come, first serve basis. There are no appointments. Because the library is an enrollment site for the NYS Health Insurance Marketplace, navigators from the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council will be available on the first Friday of every month. There is no guarantee the navigator will have time to meet with everyone who comes on a single afternoon.

SCORE - Counselors to Small Business Owners
The sole mission of SCORE is to serve our local business communities with pro-bono counseling that promotes successful new business startups and the success of existing small-medium size business. To accomplish this, we offer workshops, face-to-face, cyber and telephone counseling to assist clients with: preparation of business and marketing plans and documentation required for startup or operating capital. Smith Point Village Exploratory Committee
An incorporated village would allow the residents of Smith Point to take control of its own community and the quality of life issues we are facing. Code enforcement and absentee Landlords are just two examples why it would be beneficial to be a Village....Zoning issues, like 450 Unit Developments, would have to come through the Village for approval. We have become a dumping ground for sex offenders, sober houses and section 8 rentals by the Town of Brookhaven and the County. For our community, it is the only option left to stop the degeneration that is currently happening.

Sound Symphony Orchestra
The Sound Symphony is a unique and exciting orchestra that presents a series of concerts of great music, performed by members of the community, for the community. The Sound Symphony presents a series of outstanding programs, both of classical and contemporary composers. The orchestra seeks to encourage talented young musicians with its annual Solo Competition and provides three in-school programs -- The Toy Symphony, The Incredible String Machine, and Jazz It Up! -- to school districts throughout Suffolk County.

The Sui Mu Kwan Tang Soo Do Institute Inc.
The objective of The Sui Mu Kwan Tang Soo Do Institute, is to provide a quality program for youth who wish to train in the Martial Science/Arts. Our goal is to give each and every person an opportunity to leave the negative influences behind and begin a new journey within the Martial Way. Here you will find an open door, where money has no value. A place that has been established for the community. The Sui Mu Kwan Tang Soo Do Institute was founded 2010 by Kyo Sa Nim, Mark Anthony Wickline. His vision was to create an International Institution that would ensure that anyone who wanted to train in Martial Science/Arts would not be turned away for financial reasons. There are thousands of youths and young adults throughout the world that would like to take Karate, however their families cannot afford it and are left behind. Some of them will end up in Gangs, on Drugs or become Teenage Parents. We felt an obligation to the community to pitch in and lend a helping hand. The idea is, if they want to learn, we will take them and teach them. For every hour we give them, we ask in return that they volunteer 1 afternoon a month within the community.

Offers a wide range of programs to youth and families of the community.
