Before starting your science project, you should speak with your teacher and make sure that you are following his or her instructions.  Different teachers may have different requirements.

Scientific Method

The scientific method should be used when setting up your science experiment.

Displaying your Science Experiment

Below is an example of how a science project display may be set up.  THIS MAY NOT BE HOW YOUR TEACHER WANTS YOUR PROJECT PRESENTED.  Remember to check with your teacher for any rules on setting up your display.

Most science fair participants use a three-fold (tri-fold) display that is either made of cardboard or heavy duty oaktag.  You can find these in most stationary stores such as card stores, Walgreens, CVS and Walmart, as well as school and art supply stores.  Not all stores carry this type of display, so you should call the store before going to confirm that they have it in stock.

4.  Procedure/Method

Any equipment or models that you have used for your experiment can be displayed in front of your three-fold display.
